A cord-hung pendant stacked from three plain parts: a small turned walnut bead where the flex meets the fitting, a travertine body below it, and a round opal glass globe hanging beneath. The stone body is left with the open pores and fine banding travertine is known for, so the figure differs from piece to piece, and the bead above it is turned in a dark walnut tone. The globe below is opal white glass rather than clear, so the lamp inside is hidden from view.
Light
The fitting takes a single E27 screw-fit lamp. Our supplier produces the model in three colour temperatures – warm 3000K, natural 4200K and cool 6000K – and the pieces we source are specified in warm 3000K. Because the globe is opal rather than clear, the output reads as an even glow rather than a point of light, which suits a bedside, a hallway or a pair hung over a counter.
